Bio: I am the blessed mom of a strong, funny, and introspective 23 year-old son "Caleb" who has significant special needs. I have changed his name to protect his privacy but everything else is real. There seems to be lots of information and help for younger kids with special needs but now I'm learning to navigate Neverland, with this brave young man who will always remain a child. Join me.
Neverland Without a GPS 
We have 2 daughters out of our 5 kids that have Joubert Syndrome. Suzie is 39 and Nancy is 34. As the 4 of us sit around the dinner table eating dinner while trying to figure out what the girls (they will always be “the girls”) are saying I wonder what my friends, “the empty nesters” talk about each night? It must be nice to have a little peace and quiet every evening.
